Invertebrates, as they almost usually do account for the vast biodiversity and numbers in an ecosystem.
I doubt if anyone's even tried to checklist them. Poorna and Vasudha (2005 -2008, BSc Zoology) made a checklist of spiders in campus and I've done one on Dragonflies and a little on butterflies which is not at all difficult as it only involves identifying and listing down what one sees over a certain period of time, systematically. The checklists will be available for download soon!
