Muthupet is a unique mangrove ecosystem, 400 Km south of Chennai and two hours from Kodikarai(Point Calimere). The waters merge into a lagoon at the tail end before joining the palk strait. The spruced up wooden bridges broken down at various places give navigation on land, among the mangroves, an authentic feel.
